About Us
Barry and Lorraine Beattie, the owners of Easy Traveller Trailers Pty. Ltd. originally established their Steel Fabrication business in 1972, called Action Fabrications Pty. Ltd. They became involved in the manufacturing of horse floats in 1993. We were breeding Arabians and showing them on the show circuit. We met John Chatterton at this time who had designed the concept for the JR and had patented it. We were involved with showing and breeding horses for around 18 years, gaining a thorough insight as to why some horses would travel so badly and watching John working with the horses to give them confidence with travelling. Barry and John worked together to improve the JR with every safety issue looked at so the horse would feel safe and comfortable. Our son John Beattie became involved in our business also with the aim to put the best products possible on the market, which can be confirmed by our many happy customers. By 2000 we established JR Easy Traveller Trailers as a separate identity continuing to build several different models as well as goosenecks. We have also been building SOUTHERN CROSS 5th wheelers and caravans from our Easytraveller factory. We are a company that cares for its customers and our great resale prices show great quality.We provide you with the safest equine transportation on the market, incorporating patented sloping walls, adjustable chest and rump bars and a wider tailgate.
